Dr. Shakha Gillin, MD, FAAP, board-certified pediatrician and Vishakha Gigler, MD, board-certified dermatologist, join the rapidly growing brand bringing a breadth of medical expertise and hands-on clinical experience.

Shakha Gillin, MD, FAAP, has a special interest in preventative care, particularly healthy and active lifestyles for children. Gillin co-founded Coast Pediatrics in 2012, where she currently serves as a provider. During her residency at UC Irvine, Gillin was the chief resident at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach. She has practiced pediatrics in North County for over a decade in addition to time spent in a private practice in Newport Beach and at the Rady Children’s Hospital Emergency Department in San Diego. Recognized annually for the past 13 years by San Diego Magazine as a “Top Doctor” and selected as “Best Pediatrician” by Ranch and Coast Magazine. She was the founder of the North County Pediatric Journal Club, and is a Francis Parker board trustee. She is a contributing author for the American Academy of Pediatrics, HealthyChildren.org and CrossFit.com.

Vishakha Gigler, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist and co-founder of Comprehensive Dermatology Group. Dr. Gigler attended the University of California, San Diego for medical school, finishing at the top of her class she went on to complete her dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine in 2004. Dr. Gigler had served as president of the San Diego Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also the founding dermatologist for the San Diego Esthetician Society. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Gigler has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in San Diego Magazine for 12 years running.
